TL;DR
TextureFast Free 3D Converter turns FBX, OBJ, GLB, GLTF, STL, and PLY files into web-ready GLB, GLTF, OBJ, STL, PLY, or USDZ exports directly in your browser — no signup and no mandatory server upload.
The universal converter handles the format changes game, web, and AR pipelines need most often. Upload a supported source file up to 100 MB, pick an output format, and download the converted asset when processing finishes — all without installing desktop software or creating an account.
Conversion runs client-side in your browser. Your file is not sent to TextureFast servers for the conversion step, which makes this a practical option when you need a quick export path for NDA-sensitive or unreleased assets.
The workflow is intentionally short: upload, choose a target format, convert, and download. Use the 3D viewer or inspector first when you want to confirm the source file opens correctly.
Drag and drop or browse for a GLTF, GLB, OBJ, FBX, STL, or PLY file. The converter accepts one file at a time up to the 100 MB limit.
Select GLB, GLTF, OBJ, STL, PLY, or USDZ from the target dropdown. Pair pages pre-lock source and target when you already know the route you need.
Click Convert and wait for in-browser processing to finish. A live preview appears in the viewport while the file loads.
Download the converted file and open it in your target engine, viewer, or inspector. Check scale, normals, and material behavior before production handoff.
Core geometry is preserved across most routes, but every target format has tradeoffs. USDZ export is tuned for Apple AR Quick Look on iOS and Safari; material fidelity is strongest with MeshStandardMaterial-style setups, and keyframe or skeletal animations are not preserved. OBJ output favors broad mesh compatibility, yet multi-file material and texture packaging may need manual cleanup after export.
STL and PLY targets are geometry-first. They are useful for fabrication, scan, or mesh-processing workflows, but they do not retain full PBR material detail from richer source files. When the goal is AI texturing, convert to GLB or GLTF with usable UVs, validate the layout in the UV Map Inspector, then continue to the TextureFast texturing dashboard.
The universal converter accepts GLTF, GLB, OBJ, FBX, STL, and PLY uploads and can export to GLB, GLTF, OBJ, STL, PLY, or USDZ. Format-specific pair pages cover high-intent routes such as FBX to GLB and GLB to USDZ.
No. TextureFast runs conversion in your browser. Your 3D file is processed locally for the conversion step, with no signup and no mandatory server upload.
Yes. The converter is free to use with no account required. TextureFast also offers paid AI texturing on the dashboard, but the conversion tools themselves do not require a subscription.
Yes. Choose USDZ as the output format or use a dedicated pair page such as GLB to USDZ or OBJ to USDZ. USDZ exports target Apple AR Quick Look workflows used by many iOS commerce experiences, including Shopify AR product previews on supported devices.
Validate scale, normals, UV layout, and material behavior in your target tool. Open the result in the 3D viewer or inspector, or use the UV Map Inspector when you plan to texture the asset in TextureFast.
Ready to texture your model?
After you convert, view, or inspect your asset, upload a UV-unwrapped GLB, GLTF, OBJ, or FBX to the TextureFast texturing dashboard and generate production PBR maps from a text prompt in seconds.
