About

About TextureFast

TextureFast is a privacy-first AI texture generator that paints PBR maps onto existing 3D models for game developers, archviz artists, and robotics teams without taking the full mesh off their machine.

The full model stays local. Generation uses the UV map, your prompt, and an optional reference image. Speed comes after that: a typical set is ready in about 40 seconds, and your assets are not used for training.

What TextureFast does

PBR textures without uploading the mesh

TextureFast opens a GLB, GLTF, OBJ, or FBX model on your machine and generates Base Color, Normal, Height, Roughness, Metallic, and Ambient Occlusion from the UV map. The complete file never has to leave your computer, and TextureFast does not train on it. You still get PNG maps up to 4096×4096 for Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, or Roblox Studio, usually in about 40 seconds.

A Blender addon that keeps the file in Blender

The Blender addon (Blender 4.0+) generates those maps from the mesh you already have open. Nothing is exported to a cloud modeler first. Select a UV-unwrapped mesh, describe the material, and the addon writes albedo, normal, roughness, metallic, height, and AO onto the material.

Private workflows for games, Roblox clothes, and CS2 skins

Game textures, Roblox clothing, and Counter-Strike 2 skins use the same rule: the model stays with you, and only the UV-based generation runs. You preview the result on the model, then export maps for the engine or workshop path you already use.

Free browser tools for the files around texturing

TextureFast also ships free viewers, inspectors, a format converter, a UV map inspector, and a UV maps extruder. Those tools let you check a model before you spend tokens on a generation.

What makes TextureFast different

The full model stays local. Meshy and Tripo need it in the cloud.

Meshy.ai and Tripo AI generate or remix 3D in their own pipeline, which means the mesh has to go to them. TextureFast does the opposite. The complete file stays on your machine, and generation uses the UV map plus your prompt. You keep the topology you already approved, and you do not hand the asset to another company's servers to get a texture.

Your meshes are not training data

Cloud AI suites can retain what you upload. TextureFast does not train on customer creative assets. A prompt and a UV layout are enough to make the maps. That is the privacy term that matters if the model is unreleased, client-owned, or under contract.

NDA work can stay on the machine that already has the file

Studios compare TextureFast with Adobe Substance 3D Painter because Painter is also local. Painter keeps the file on your computer and then asks for hours of manual painting. TextureFast keeps that same privacy and generates the PBR set from the UV map, so an NDA mesh does not have to be uploaded just to try an AI texture.

Quixel and Substance Sampler solve a different privacy problem

Quixel Megascans is a scanned library you download. Adobe Substance 3D Sampler turns source images into materials. Neither one textures your unique model in place, and Sampler still starts from images you supply. TextureFast textures the model you already have, without sending that model out to build the maps.

About 40 seconds, after the mesh stays put

Speed is the second benefit. A typical generation is about 40 seconds, up to 4K. Adobe Substance 3D Painter is often hours per asset because the work is manual. Cloud generators can look fast only after the file has left your computer. TextureFast is the path that is both private and quick.

Who uses TextureFast

These are the groups that cannot send a mesh to a cloud generator, or do not want to.

  • Game teams on Unity, Unreal Engine, or Godot who cannot upload an unreleased mesh to a cloud AI tool.
  • Solo 3D artists and environment artists texturing props, kits, and marketplace packs.
  • Archviz and product-visualization artists who need material looks without a multi-hour paint pass.
  • Robotics and simulation teams building texture variation for vision training data.
  • Roblox clothing designers and CS2 skin creators who need to judge a design on the actual model.
  • Asset-store publishers, educators, students, modders, and tabletop or 3D-print hobbyists.

Why TextureFast exists

AI texturing usually means uploading the mesh. TextureFast exists so the UV map is enough. The full model stays local, the maps come back in about 40 seconds, and TexturesFast and TrimSheetFast sit beside it for materials and trim sheets.

Who you will actually talk to

TextureFast is an independent software company, not a large agency bench. Starter and Pro customers get priority email. Ultra adds WhatsApp. Enterprise includes a dedicated success manager. Support mail goes to team@texturefast.com.

How TextureFast works

Onboarding

Create an account and open a UV-unwrapped model in the web app or the Blender addon. The file stays on your machine. Describe the material, generate, and download the maps. There is no implementation project and no mandatory kickoff call.

Turnaround

A generation is about 40 seconds, not a multi-day studio queue. You preview the texture on the model, then download PNG maps or apply them in Blender.

Communication and response time

Email team@texturefast.com or message @texturefast on X. Support typically replies within 24 hours. Starter and Pro include priority email. Ultra includes priority support on WhatsApp. Enterprise customers work with a dedicated success manager.
